You'll be responsible for:

• Building data science models to improve the accuracy of carbon estimates of consumer purchases
• Identify valuable sources for carbon data for tracking purchases and habits
• Preprocessing of structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources
• Working with our developer team to implement cool new features on the NetZero App
• Advise our team on environmental strategies and present information using data visualization techniques

You should have:

• Current enrolment in a Masters degree or Phd in Carbon finance / Data Science, or similar
• Knowledge of carbon tracking and carbon life cycle assessments
• Know-how to analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Knowledge of R, SQL and Python and building prediction models with these

It would be great if you have:

• Experience building machine learning models
• Past experience working in a data science role
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
